Kaitlin Mason grew up in a small town outside of Toronto, where she discovered from an early age that being creative was always going to be a part of her life. Kaitlin started college in an interior design program, and later switched into the Fine Arts program at Georgian College in Barrie Ontario, where her work using fabrics as a subject matter began. After graduating, she transferred to NSCAD University in Halifax Nova Scotia, where she earned her BFA degree. Since graduating, Kaitlin has been focused on drawing with coloured pencils on wood panels, becoming lost in the details of intricate garments and fabrics, while leaving the beauty of the raw wood exposed. She now resides near Toronto, where she continues to exhibit in galleries and art fairs across the region.
