I originally started college in an interior design program, and later switched into the Fine Arts program at Georgian College in Barrie Ontario, where my work using fabrics as a subject matter began. After graduating, I transferred to NSCAD University in Halifax Nova Scotia, where I earned my BFA degree. Since graduating, I've been focusing on drawing with coloured pencils on wood panels, becoming lost in the details of intricate garments and fabrics, while leaving the beauty of the raw wood exposed. As an active member of the Ontario Society of Artists, I had the privilege of co-chairing the 2018 Emerging Artist Exhibition which enables new and upcoming artists the opportunity to showcase their artwork. Each year I participate in multiple juried exhibitions and art fairs across Toronto, and have sent many of my drawings into private collections across North America and Internationally.
