Coloured pencil on wood, 5x5 inches, 2021.
This little swatch of fabric used to belong to something larger, something more, but is now standing alone as an individual entity. Capturing this fragment of fabric in time preserves the intricate details which can never be recreated in this specific form again.
Each drawing has 3-4 layers of coloured pencil, sprayed with a UV Archival fixative after each layer.
The drawings measure 5x5x1.5 inches.
Each drawing will be ready for hanging with a sawtooth hanger already installed.
